Twitter's getTweetLength JS to AS3?

Hi,

I need an AS3 version of the Twitter's official twitter-text.js "getTweetLength" for a new AIR based Twitter client.

This is the file on their GitHub: https://github.com/twitter/twitter-text/blob/master/js/twitter-text.js

Did anybody port it to AS3 yet?
